Aruna was previously known as Rea Byers, a teaching channel for Ascended Master Saint Germain. While traveling the world to share his wisdom and guidance, she became a psychotherapist and personal development trainer who could also assist in the spiritual evolution of her clients.
All this changed in 1993 when she met her final spiritual teacher. Sri H.W.L. Poonja (aka Papaji) http://www.poonja.com. In his presence and with the understanding of his simple teaching, Aruna discovered the silent presence of her Master within. Papaji publicly confirmed this as an Awakening and named her Aruna, saying that the name means the light that goes from heart to heart.
